hey guys...chubsg seems dead...anyone keen to form up an interest group and make chubsg more interesting...or all chub went to TBP?

dude... ChubSG is already an 'interest group' - it's in the name 
that people dun come in here to post is because there's other ponds to fish in, and this site is more of a 'specialist' site where it's mostly for chubs and their admirers...
we could suggest that more be done to include face pics and member profiles,etc...
and finally, really, the pond in Sgp is quite small, and personally, I'm just glad this site survives with little or NO advertising, and I can park my blogs here.
If you are new, you wouldn't know that this site was closed ... twice with no advance notice for a while before coming back on line... this two incidents lost me quite a few blog entries... and I now acrhive it regularly... it could be a main reason why many dun frequent this site as much as other 'more reliable' sites.
personally, i like it here... quiet, private, and really for chubs and genuine chasers... and few bullshitters... except for me
you wan to party? there's Trevvy, Fridae, Blowing Wind just to name 3 popular chub-friendly sites...

Well...both sides have their valid points.
It's nice and quiet for some but others want some more activity. It's tough, honestly. We're all running this as volunteers and lately, most have been very busy. If anyone has the interest to do something, bring it up. There's no harm and we'll do our best to support anything.
If there are any folks who understand CMS and how to grow a site on one of them, send me an email. I'll see what we can do to include you in our dreams.

I quite like the idea of social events being organised on here. It's not quite the same crowd as TBP but with some overlap. I know it's not for everyone but it could work.

I would like that idea of having events to bring in the chub and admirers.
We can do a social gathering once a month, especially on a holiday.
Like the beach / weekend resorts / pubs / bizzare for the chubs/ food etc.
Or even a meeting place for chubs and admirers who want to start a relationship.
We need to add places that are chub friendly places.
I personally fill that its time that the site be revamp to include photos and personal details like interest... something like the facebook and like pandaish.ning or hi5.

The old group used to have outings and stuff like chalets. If you want to, go ahead and organise it.
This is a free site, and we as volunteers do not have time to spend doing much at this time. We would be more than happy to welcome people who can help out. Anyone?

Movie outings and makan sessions are good, it takes half a day or more and allow people to know each other better.
